  • When is the best time to schedule a newborn session?

    The best time to photograph your newborn is within the first 5–14 days after birth, when babies are typically sleepier and easier to gently pose. I recommend booking during your pregnancy to ensure availability around your due date.

  • How long does a newborn session last?

    Newborn sessions are intentionally unhurried to allow plenty of time for feeding, diaper changes, soothing, and cuddles. Session length varies depending on the package you choose, ensuring your baby's comfort always comes first.

  • Can parents and siblings be included in the photos?

    Absolutely! Parents and siblings are welcome to be part of your newborn session. My Create and Reveal packages include family and sibling portraits, allowing you to capture these special first memories together.

  • What should we bring to the session?

    Bring plenty of diapers, wipes, bottles (if bottle feeding), extra formula or breast milk if needed, a pacifier if your baby uses one, and any sentimental items you'd like included. Keeping your baby comfortable and content helps create a relaxed session for everyone.

  • What should my baby wear?

    Simple is best. A plain onesie or a favorite swaddle is perfect for arrival, and we'll discuss any outfits, wraps, or accessories you'd like to incorporate into the session beforehand.

  • What if my baby is fussy during the session?

    That's completely okay! Babies set the pace during newborn sessions. We allow plenty of time for comforting, feeding, and breaks as needed, creating a calm, stress-free environment so we can capture beautiful, natural images at your baby's own pace.
